I see...
So Sweden has softened Finland quiet a lot, right? But still Finland is very strict on immigration as I know, because they allow only a thousand people to immigrate per year.

Swedes put us under western values, unfortunately. Durin Cold War time here was no refugees actually all, neither immigrants. Only refugees were some Chileans. Times are changing now here, our government will accpet mre and more immigrants. And refugees, Finland will take now refugees from following groups... kurds, montagnards and some people from Myanmar. Doesn't sound good The EU has some good points (like easy travel) but it also puts some countries like Finland and Turkey into very difficult positions.

easy travel and common currency are about the only advantages, but common currency also has some disadvantages.

Yes, especially in Eastern Europe where prices used to much cheaper (those countries who joined after 2003 will soon be badly effected from that).

Gypsies are a real trouble really. I wish Finland had acted like Norway The good thing of gipsies (only good) is that their violent crimes usually target to their own people, heh. Clan wars.

Ah, in Turkey they don't have that much of clan wars; instead, their crimes are targeted to the ordinary citizens.

I think a lot of emotional argument gets spilled when the issue of Uighuristan is raised and the dubious occupation by China.
As a Chinese, I would like to see my Uighur friend's lives improve if there is no way they can get self determination.
Such as Preservation of Uighur Culture in education Investment in technology and innovation focus on Uighur communities More freedom to express, don't shoot people for their views and allow the Blue Crescent to fly Control of migration from other provinces in China.
When it self determines Lets think about what best for it to be able to gain stability early on since such a power vacuum exist.
The dangers of legacy Uighur Chinese Communist Party droids turning it into another hell. Defence in a volatile region. Some crazy hard core people are near by eyeing Becoming an easy pawn for US and Russia
We end up dissing ourselves, pointing fingers at each other but its does nothing to improve the lives of our friends in Uighuristan. Instead, we polarise ourselves further.
