nisse,
Indeed, movie had a lot of difficult literary expressions and phrases which show the beauty and complexity of our language, but are not easily understandable and translatable to other languages.
The subtitles were mostly based on the Russian version which used very simple language. So, subtitles deliver the overall meaning, but not word-for-word translation of the Kazak speach.

one thing that I forgott to mention was that turkmen litertuare is little bit hard to understand, or maybe itgs because that I havent read or wrote anything in turkmen, to be able to understand a language completly you must read and write, i dont do that , I havent had the chance to do so, I only speak it, but I will hopefully elarn it some day, by the way how long does it take to learn all the turkic languagses, it shouldnt be hard, if you know one language you should easly understand another ,

No, they are Hispanics. I finally had the time to watch the movie. Awesome in technic, and it's very good at showing the cultural history of the Qazaq and Jungghar peoples

I have no idea By the way, is it just me or does the movie have so many common points with the Manas epic of the Qyrghyz?
