What do you mean by Terekemes? I don't see Terekemes there but Azerbaijani Turks. Terekemes are indeed Azerbaijani Turks but you make it look like their something different. Georgians are about 83.8%, of Georgia's current population of 4,661,473 (July 2006 est.).[101] Other major ethnic groups include Azeris, who form 6.5% of the population, Armenians - 5.7%, Russians - 1.5%, Abkhazians, and Ossetians. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_%28country%29#DemographicsArdahan itself are identical of Azerbaijani Turkish. Thats why you do not understand. The difference between Ahiska and Azerbaijani Turkish are fewer then difference between American and British English. I have ears too. And by the way, the words you typed on first page are wrong. ;D

And big parts of todays Georgia was under control of Azerbaijan throughout the history, specially the southern parts.. Azerbaijani Turks are today the largest minority in Georgia (7-8%) and forms the majority in south-east regions. Ahiska Turks before mass deportation lived next to Azerbaijani Turks of Borchali.
Ahiska Turks are more influenced by Azerbaijani Turks then anything else. And don't forget there is a big Azerbaijani Turk minority in Igdir-Kars up to Ardahan, when talking about northeastern Anatolia.

Because the language is called Azerbaijani Turkish not Azeri. You got it all wrong. North-east Anatolia itself are identical to Azerbaijan. Dede Korkut tales was about northeastern Anatolia and Azerbaijan. Look for Bayburt dialect for instance, near Black Sea. I can help you. www.bayburtvakfi.org.tr/?SXNsZW09VHVtSGFiZXJsZXImS2F0ZWdvcmlObz0xNg==And you can find a big list of words on that page.

I really wonder why 3 persons voted for Anatolian Turkish. ;D
By the way, it should be Azerbaijani Turkish instead of "Azeri".

Qarapapaqs of Georgia and Western Azerbaijan are also known as Terekeme. By that name, they are probably a branch of Turkmens. There's an ethnic group called Truhmen in southern Russia (near border with Georgia) who are believed to be a branch of Turkmens. www.terekemeler.com Iam a Terekeme from Türkiye-Kars (north-east part of türkiye). We had came from somewhere in Georgia to todays Kars when it is 1915-17 war against Rus and Armenians... We Terekemes knew ourselves as a terekeme but not as a karapapak.Even I dont know who karapapak is.I am sure we are same with other terekemes sended to central asia by Rus but not sure with karapapaks living in azerbaycan.Problem is that we terekemes living in türkiye use completely same turkish with terekemes of sended from caucasia to central asia, but very different with karapapaks living in azerbaycan. If terekeme and karapapak are same, then how we speak different from ones very close to türkiye but completely same with ones very far away from türkiye?Really I can detect at once the single terekeme in 1000 azerbaycanian, but I can not if he/she is in a 1000 terekeme from central asia.So There is a big problem and probobly we are not karapapak.. Funny. ;D Terekeme - Karapapaks are a branch of Azerbaijani Turks. There are more then 300 thousound ethnic Azerbaijani Turks in Georgia. And you say that you came from somewhere in Georgia and your Terekeme... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azeris_in_Georgia_%28country%29According to the 2002 census, there are 284,761 ethnic Azeris living in Georgia.[1] They comprise 6.5% of Georgia's population (being its largest ethnic minority), inhabiting mostly rural parts of the country, mostly in Kvemo Kartli, Kakheti, Shida Kartli and Mtskheta-Mtianeti. There is a large Azeri community in the capital city of Tbilisi and smaller communities in other regions.[2]
