Dear friend. I don,t need to waste my time to make you believe Mao is a great leader. Pls come to China( village area) and talk with ordinary Chinese peoples and don,t waste your precious time on some books wrote by his enemy. China is a country of peasants, so peasants is the backbone of China. I,m certain if you spent some time with ordinary Chinese people you wull change your point of view on him. Brainwash is useful for idiots, but we have our heart to sense everthing and to judge who is wrong and who is right. Secondly, like all ordinary people, he love his son. Who don,t love his son. It,s unreasonable to defame an old people who had lost his son. If you abuse him as selfish people, Pls give evidence what he and his family have got from country and Chinese peoples. I will put my second chapter in near future. My second chapter is on Mao's agricultural reform. Everthing happened have it's causes, Cultural revolution without it's exception. General Pen de Huai is a good guy(the first commander in chief in Korea war). But he made an unforgivable fault in "Lu shan" meeting. And this episode I will put in here later. Only commie-leader in China who really wanted to help poor people in China was Peng Dehuai, and in internet you can search and find what Mao did to him...

My Lord , it,s not propaganda, My uncle works in China social analysis department. His topic is to evaluate the relationship between Soviet and China, and domestic situation at time of cold war. I just present the real situation and Mao's politics toward foreign and domestic issue. My lord, If you don,t like me because of my comment on Saran's topic. You should give me decent death in this forum. But I didn't violate yasa. This topis is Mao, and Ijust put logical and reasonable evaluation on Mao without biased view. Pls give me justice my forum Lord. Don,t forsake me. I,m a Mongol. It,s hard to preserve it,s tradition and language in China, but I doing hard to learn Mongol,s customs and tradition. And I will tell my Son that your ancestor came down from grassland and you are the descendent of Mongol warrior. Sometimes I feel very bad, because I have to chose one between Mongol and China. One is my hometown, another is the place where I grown up, and receive education. Temur, I will not allow you to post pro-Maoist political propaganda in our site.

My correction on my sentence. He didn,t need to send his son to that dangerous place, because China have no any air protection, most Chinese soldier and General died as USA air attacks. You even couldn,t guarantee the safety of First commander in chief. I will put my 2cond chapter of Mao in near future. But now I have to present my 3 stages of my knowledge on Mao. I was born 4 years after Mao's death. Firstly, I shoot "long live Chairman Mao" just like all Chinese students do it, because teachers teach us to do it. We just blindly respected him. Certainly, my Mongol teachers also told us that Genjisi Khan is our paramount leader and most great Khan. My second stage cames in 90s , at this time some Chinese intellectuals and former officers sprung out and printed lot of books attacking Mao. My generation was greatly influenced by this tide of this surprising revolution. In fact, I hate Mao to the bone at that period, and I even want to drug his body from his tomb in Tian,n men Square. My third stage came when Chinese peoples realizes what those people( intellectuals and officials who were punished by Mao) had done to Chinese peoples. They began change their attitude toward Mao to previous stage. Chairman Mao is a great leader of China, a great emperor of Chinese people. He is not only the spiritual leader of Chinese but that of all human being. At his time, everyone is equal. During the Korea war his son(if he didn,t died, Chinese peoples would have probably erected him as successor of Mao) died in the battle field. At the eve of war, Mao said:" my son is as common as the son of ordinary people, he must blood with those young peoples, he has no priority." He didn,t send his son to that dangerous place, because China have no any air protection, most Chinese soldier and General died as USA air attacks. You even couldn,t guarantee the safety of First commander in chief. During 1989 student movement, A general told government that "I,m a soldier of Chairman Mao , and my responsibility is to protect China and Chinese peoples from Soviet and USA invasuon rather than killing my countrymen." Finally he was put in home arrest.

I experiences 3 stages on him. Your book of Mao is mainly wrote by his enemy or intellectuals who was punished in Cultural revolution. In fact, he is far away from egoistic. He is not God, so he has done many wrong things just like other great figures in the history. And I have read some book that are much more vicious than book you have recommended to me. Frankly, some Chinese peoples hate him very much, because they can,t bully and exploit ordinary peoples in Mao's time. I,m a Mongol who brought up in China. Two people I respect most are Genjisi Khan and Chairman Mao. Both of them have general love toward people regardless of their class of birth, and their broad-minded view toward world. Unlike some brutal conquerors who just conquered peoples physically, Ganjisi Khan and Chairman Mao conquered peoples spiritually, they are the spiritual leader of all human being. I suggest you read that book what I mentioned in my first post in that topic. Do you live in China? If yes, then you propably cannot find that book.

My forum Lord and respected friends here. I have to say that your knowledge on Mao is very limited! The Cultural revolution have zero influence on ordinary Chinese peoples( at least 95 percent). It,s target is mainly on High officials in the party. It,s a movement that against corruption in government. How Cultural revolution happened, I will put it,s causes below. But It,s causes is too long to be finished wirhing days, but I have to list truth in this forum and erase some misunderstanding on Mao. My uncle is an researcher in department of society of China, and his subject is mainly on the analysis of China's relationship with Soviet Union and domestic situation. Before Cultural revolution, I have to say something about the relationship between Soviet and China. After Oct revoultion, Leinin, the founder of Soviet promised that Soviet will give all territory which was encroached by Russia empire in 19th century back to China. At that time, Leinin is not only leader of Soviet but paramount leader of China communist party. After got his promise, Chinese include Koumintang(nationlist party) Felt very happy. But after death of Lenin, Stalin broke that oral promise, and said that Mongolia' fate is decided by Mongol peoples, finally Mongolia declare it's independence. And Mongolia's independence was a big attack on China,s ruling party( nationalist party). All Chinese were frustrated by it in fact. Because of severe corruption, Japanese invasion as well as peasants uprising, Communists party led Chinese people overthrew Kuomingtang party. To this point, I have to say nationlist party has lost wide support of majority. And Mongolia's independence is also counted in the reason that why nationalist party was toppled down. Just 1 years of founding of New China, Stalin collaborated with King ri Cheng( Korean communists leader) to launch war against south Korea which supported by America. Their agreement didn,t tell Mao, after north Korea was crashed by USA army, king ri cheng wrote letter to Mao and plea him sent army to fight against USA army because king's troop was totally crashed. When Mao received this letter, he felt very angry, because bafore war he told King that you must take involvement of USA into account. Now, Mao, like previous Chinese Emperors, understands the importance of Korea. 800 years ago Mongol army come down from Liao dong, 300 Manchurian came down from there, and 50 years ago Japanese came down from there. Korea is the frontgate of China. So he decide sent Chinese army to Korea regardless od opposition from party. The outcome of war is a disaster for both China and USA, China lost 300,000 soldier, and USA lost 134,500(but offical figure is 53.000, it,s a face saving) And they signed peace agreement in 38 meridian. Article above is the first reason that why relationship was broke up and finally lead to cultural revolution.

You can read and write mother language, but haven't use it since your family immigrated to foreign country, shame on it too. I was taught at school for 2 years. I could write and read perfectly well...then I and my family left Mongolia. Never used the old script since then. Can write and read few words.....nothing more......its a shame.

Frankly speaking, I can't speak but some simple sentences. When I live in Iner-Mongolia, I met some Mongol brothers who came from Rep of Mongolia. My Inner Mongol brothers and I were stunned by their ignorance on classical Mongolian characters. They can't write it! Erdene, can you write or recognize classical characters? Can you speak Mongolian Timur???

Yup there are so many Chinese around you, when you open your eye, and when you step out of your home, you are surrounded by Han-Chinese ppls. What 's about life of Tartar and Mongol in Turkey? Because there are so many of them, the non-Han Chinese are so few in number, so that's normal.
