My bad, I didn't mean he was a Janissary, but possibly that he was a descendent of a Janissary. And Janissaries were of European descent, they were captured European boys by the Ottomans and trained by the Ottomans to be their elite force. And I say NO, he was not... With what source are you calling him to be European descendant??? A history of the White Race.

But showing him as a non-Turk is a kind of plan on Turks and Turkey I think. Don't be a part of this... I tell you that he is Turk.

Atatürk's ancestors were forcily settled around the Selânik (Thessalonika) region in the so-called "Ottoman Classical Age" but thanks to archive documents, we all know today that they were originially from the region of Konya (Ikonion/Iconium) in Central Anatolia.
Why altaicmongol tries to say is that Atatürk doesn't look Mongoloid. The thing is that colored hair and colored eyes are very common among the Yörük-Türkmens of Turkey and the Balkans; but the pre-Turkish dwellers of Anatolia were of Mediterrenean stock mostly. The more interesting thing is that I have seen quiet a lot of colored eyed and colored haired Türkmens living east of the Caspian.
