Another article on the Scythians, mentions that the Scythians in the Altai region of Siberia are called Kindred Scythians or Eastern Scythians. www.silk-road.com/artl/scythian.shtmlI would like to know if there is a connection between the Deerstone monuments that occur in many areas of Northern Mongolia and Siberia, Russia and the Scythians. Some photos of some deerstones in Mongolia. jts88.com/mongolia/selenge/day6/day6.htmlIt is interesting to note that the rivers in Mongolia along which the Deerstones are located also are known to have placer gold in large quantities and still to this day have many operating placer gold mines. The Scythians used gold extensively. If you read the National Geographic of June 2003 you will see extensive gold articles removed from a Scythian grave near the NW border of Mongolia in Tuuva.
