I would say, inside of a nomad still often lives a mammoth hunter of ancient times ... so, if you would like to have something special, some "wild meat" might be an answer ...

Meat is the key of steppe meals. But it does not mean that only meat was used There are also many examples of pastries, the most important and famous of them being the Börek (Bürek), even mentioned in the travel report of Xuánzàng (Hsüan-tsang, 602-664) 玄奘.
