I was on another non-history forum there was a nother turkish boy lets say who keeps claiming QUOTE The last Roman Emperor whas maybe a descentant of Attila the hun, the source:"E.A.Thompson "The Huns", Blackwell Publishers, p.171 writes that very last emperor of the WRE was dethroned by Odoacer, who became the first barbarian king of Italy, and who also was son of Edeco (or Edige?), a Hun."
Also, the last emperor of the WRE was the son of Orestes(Attila's secretary, I believe, unless he was of a different position). The son took the name Romulus Augustus when he was emperor, and he was a weak one, in my opinion, before he was dethroned by Odoacer.
this is his souce erdene know that person 2

it is true that Romulus Augustus was Orestes son, but i don't know if Orestes was ethncially a Hun. since he was Attilas secretary he must have been naturally literate, but Huns were not literate so it is unlikely Orestes was a "true" Hun.

Orestes was probably a Greek or a Latin/Roman.

I don't know about Roman or Greek origin of Orestes, but he was probably Scythian. At least this is the way he is shown in the Movie of Attila The Hun.He is the right hand of Atilla. And about Ildiko she is probably of Goth origin ;D Huns are incredible ! They could changed the whole face of Europe if Atilla wasn't been killed.

The name Ildiko is just Hildegard. So yes, she was Germanic.

If you Google 'Flavius Orestes' you will get his history.
He was an upper class Roman from Pannoia - ie old millitary family so Roman-Germanic.
