Ok,Here is some research of mine. This is a map of the Huns avance in Europe in 5 century. The Bulgars are shown in the name of Utighur and Kutrigur Huns. So this proove that the Bulgars were real descendants of the huns. For me there is no doubt that the Bulgars followed the Huns after they were subdued by them.Rostov na Don,Volga and Ural are the places in which the Bulgarians lived when the Huns started to penetrate in the west lands in their conquest towards the Roman empire. But you should be careful about that, because in that map, "Hun" is used as a political term, not ethnic. We know that the Huns and Oghurs were different peoples, but the Oghurs had become "Huns" after they entered Hunnic vassalage. This was the case with all steppe empires throughout history

Ok,Yes That's right.The Bulgars are steppe people of an Oghuric type. They were integrated in the Hun empire in a political sense that's right. After the decline of the Huns they created their own khanate.
