what do you know about the turks from the caucasus. Some claim pfff that their not even turks. Some ssay they came to that region after seljuk or even ottoman expation. Some say they were there 1000 years before the ottomans or mabey 500 years.
I know that there are no turks in the caucasus left. if you count north turkey as southern caucasus mabey.
Btw why are the circassians and chechens accepted by us(mostly turks I think) we are not to kind of anyother people.

you call the ancient oghuz regions (ak-sika white castle) non-turk. why would they have been exiled 3 times for helping the ottomans ethnic cleansing has occured so many times. exile to siberia working in camps half the people died in the transport trains. if they were just muslim why exile them completely. during the sovjet union they had the oppertunity to live everywere exept their own land. other mslims stayed there.

The Turkic peoples living in Caucasia (including both the South and the North) are the Qarachay, Balqar, Qumuq, Âzerî, Noghay and Akhïsqa. There are also small groups of Türkmens and Tatars living there as exiles.
