^My gandma gets angry when we put bowls on a bed or chair, I know it's bad for you. But never knew it was because of the human skull bowls.

This is an interesting topic, but I'm going to have to think about this to see which of our current table manners would apply to our traditional nomadic culture.

Also it is rude to leave food in your dish after the meal. With another words, you have to eat up what is put in your dish.

Traditional Turks in Turkey don't like talking while eating around the table. Same with Mongols, wolfs don`t chat when they eat(=they always try to eat fast). It is said if U talk when U eat the food U eat will be offended & will not give it`s nutritions. Sortly it means U need to give respect to your food. ;D

Bread is a sacred thing in Turkish tradition. One should put the piece of bread to a higher place if he/she finds it on the ground/floor. It is also considered bad to throw bread (in fact any edible food) to the trash.

There were some claims that that tradition was from the Phryghians but I have some doubts on that (if the Turks got that tradition from them, than that tradition should have been spotted during the Hellenistic and Roman periods too, I don't know if there were any such sacricities regarding bread during those periods).

Definitially not, because the Arabs do not respect the food, especially bread.

Hmm...Bread!? I guess modern type bread wasn`t popular among Mongols. It was widely introduced during Soviet regime. Russians started to declare some rules about bread. At first Mongols liked to tear it apart with hands & take a piece of any size. Then somehow it was called bad(=not respecting this food) & Mongols started to cut it with knife. I heard that Russians never put knife stabbed in bread. Now bread is one of main foods for Mongols who live in cities. However recently chinese "Mantu" becoming more popular in restaurants/cafe..etc. Mantu doesn`t have tart taste like common bread & it goes well with soup. (In this pic U can see common size(=quite small!) Mantu that served in Mongolian restaurants/cafe.=at your right hand side a white ball!. In the middle U can see Mongolian "Suutei tsai"="Milky tea" ;D) I heard that word "Man-tu" means "Mongol head"!? During summer time Mongols wrap their heads with wide white cloth to protect it from sun.(I`m bussy to ask about it from other forums. ;D)
