According to Sima Qian, the Xiongnu were descendants of Chunwei, possibly a son of Jie. With this info can we say that Xiongnus were originally Chinese?

Huns have nothing to do with Chinese when U speak about their origin. >:(There is mad Chinese old tales about origin of surrounding countries/ppl -it says they all from China & China is in middle(=China is always been called Middle Kingdom). Chinese have black eyes & hair, Huns had (mix of) colored eyes & there even were blonde ppl. If China & Steppe nomads had one origin they must speak almost same -language must be similar. But it doesn`t. Ofcourse there is records that Steppe nomads ruled little Chinese kingdoms & mixed with them.

In real history, Hua Mulan fought against the Rouran because she lived during the Northern Wei Dynasty. But in the cartoons, she was fighting against the Xiongnu of the Han Dynasty Period. But that movie had too many historical inaccurasies

According to Chinese history, Chinese Han dynasty Is the most confident empire of Chinese people, and till recently Chinese people call themselves Han people. Han wu Di( war emperor) unlike his predecessors who send Chinese women to Huns for their promise of peace. War Emperor forsake Great Wall and decide to attack and solve Huns completely. During his reign (25 years) half population died as war against Huns, and most of them died as a result of heavy military tax and famine. He once told his Generals that Huns can across Gobe desert, so I can do it too. And all of you don,t expect I can give you enough logistic support when your legions are far away from me, When you soldier feel hugry ok you can eat Huns flesh, if you feel thirsty ok drink Huns blood. In the end, Han empire gave Huns deadly attack, and some Huns tribes moved to Europe. In real history, Hua Mulan fought against the Rouran because she lived during the Northern Wei Dynasty. But in the cartoons, she was fighting against the Xiongnu of the Han Dynasty Period. But that movie had too many historical inaccurasies
