1) I forgot the boys name and the names of the sons, I do know that the she-wolfs name was Asena or Ashena. This happened in the Altay Mountains, I was taught the boy wasn't killed and the she-wolf brought him into the Ergenekon Valley in the Altay Mountains. I don't remember a name being given to the enemy tribe. 2) Could it be The Heavenly Lake? 3) I don't know but I would also really like to find out as well as you.

I was there fro about 20days, I loved every day there and still miss it, I took the trip in 07/04. I visited allover, the names that I remember are: Ürümqi, Kaxgar, Taxkorgan, Hotan, Turfan, Yengisar, Heavenly Lake, another big lake we went swimming in, the capital of Mongol Prefacture (I think it's called Karay), drove through Taklamakan Desert. I was told that tourists aren't allowed into Ghulja, It was on my plans to visit Altay but for some reason we had nomore time and I had to go to Xi'an from there. I also would love to go to Altay, the 10sons were born in the Ergenekon Valley of Altay Mountains. Where do you live? I'm planning on getting a working visa in a couple years, going to teach English in Ürümqi for a couple years. I didn't like the situation at all, I had an Uygur tour guide for a lot of my stay there and he told me the truth about a lot of things, he could've gotten into a lot of trouble for that so I appreciated him doing that very much. I liked the Uygurs very much, they were 1,000s times more nice than the Chinese, they were even extra nice when they knew I was a Turk, they called me "Istanbul". At first sight a lot of them thought I was an Uygur visiting from somewhere else. It was great, I got to see first hand how similar our languages and cultures still are. I can't wait untill I go back.

So Istanbul lol i Am Glad That You Liked The Place There And Its Sad To Know That They Are Not Allowing Tourists To Go To Ghulja , i Wonder What They Planning To Do There : / May Tengri Help The Uyghurs In That City , The Chinese Are Testing Thier Nuclear Tests Near To Ghulja City , If They Didnt Allow Tourists To Go There It Means That Something Big Is Going On There And They Dont Want To Spread It Outside Eastern Turkistan. i Live Outside Eastern Turkistan , Maybe We Can Plan To Visit That Mountain Together : )

Yes I know of the Nuclear testing, I didn't know it was in that area though, I'm sure that is why they don't allow outsiders there. If a foreigner became sick from the testing in that area, that would cause a lot of attention and trouble from the rest of the world. Yes, definetly, I am going to Mongolia summer of 2006 and will be moving to East Turkistan in late 2006 to mid 2007, anytime in any place I'll meet there. I'd love to go to Altay Mountains, have you been to Muz Tagh Ata and Taxkorgan? That was a very fun trip.
