The people living as the subjects of the Western Turk Qaghanate were re-organised as the On Oq (Ten Tribes) in the 7th century. Among them were the famous Türgish who later founded a powerful qaghanate in that region.
What I want to know is that whether these people were ethnicially from the Türük (Tujue/Blue Turk) people or not. If not, then what were they?

I think hey were the oghuz tribe was the leading tribe of the onoq and they were the succesor of the xi tujue empire western gokturks
