Why did you stop this topic? Did you get all the information you needed? A big NO! Now I`m bit bussy. Nomad! It is Ok if U post info about chinese monsters. I was thinking. Ancient China, Ancient Persia & Rome were the main enemies of (united) steppe ppl. Maybe, it can be fun, if a huge army of fairy tale china come with their dragons to conquer the middle earth=steppe. ;D

Something intresting for me!!! Sword ~ In chinese metology its a weapons of gods. Weapon of WAR. In many civilazations even the one who did not see each other seperated by land and sea they all had swords. And usually it brought down by gods.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In Russia there are people called "Starovedy" They are native people of Russia with the native religion that was before Christianity. (They are still live but in the forest called Siberia) These people live in horomony with nature and they don't accept civilazation progress such as electricity. They worship mother nature(earth) with father sky. I find their religion as one of the humane religion in the world. Evil and Good can coexist.
Ok by their religion iron was brought down to people by the second son of the gods (Mother earth and Father Sky) Thunder. So the iron is the metal of gods. More over evil could be killed only by iron. Evil is afraid of iron.(Iron sword) And if you place some thing like horseshoe (iron made) above your door to the house evil would not be able to get inside unless you invite them yourself.
More to that.
Starovady has the belive that most of the things have its own spirits or gardians. Such as house. They belive that even a house has its own small spirit(Domovoi) that has a nasty character if you get in to fight with him and a good protecter of the house if you can befriends with him. He looks like a small size of a child man or a bunny size, all hairy and he lives under the bed or the black conners of the house.
If you are traveler and you come up to the house in woods before you come in you ask the permision of the protector of the house(Domovoi) to enter and to spend a night at this place and offer him food such as cheese, bread, milk. (leave it on the table for the night)
What can you gain from that?! He will protect you from all the evil that will try to harm you in his house. HE can even sacrifice his life for you.
Mermaids.= Lusiin Dagina (word Dagina is Sanskrit word means Goddess) Water spirit is called "Lus". They are independant from Tengri. They serve to mother Earth. Fairy tale Kings of Lus has own kingdoms. If some hero helped him he will give one of her daghters. There is 2 way : -U need to refuse! Fairy tale Mermaids are not evil, they are very beautiful & have magic powers. She can be very good wife & you will have everything! BUT, old ppl say that they are pure evil! U think, U are living a good life with here, but, U will never understand that U have turned into A FISH. U will forget your past life & live in deep water. So In real world U need to refuse to take her. (Rule: If King of Lus offers U his daughter, refuse! Then it will offer U gold, gems...etc, fefuse! Look carefully, in Lus`s ger(=home) almost everything has magical power. Ask for most useless thing U have saw. Lus will ask 3 thimes! refuse, refuse & refuse! in last question It will try to scary U by direct question like -Take that ORRR... I will!! Then it will give U the thing that U asked. When U get home with the item, try to know what kind of magic it has. It can be anything!) -U need to take her. If U are living in fairy tale world! -U need her.Her.HEr.HER! She will be the love U need even if U are ugly man. She has magical powers, so she can make U handsome & rich. She might never get old! when your times comes, to go to Tengri, she will sit beside U, still young, like 18 years old girl. Your children might look older than she is! How they look like? -They are tall & beautiful. Has clean skin & blonde hair. Some has green or blue eyes. But they can turn into anything. Their real form is fish. She can turn into a beautiful women, maybe only U will see it. I mean some might say : -What a ugly wife U have!?. Role in fairy tales? -Good wife!. She will tell U what to do. She will take some magical items before she leave her home. U can use them. They like to travel on ground using animal forms. U just need to save the animal(=mermaid) from death. The animal will speak in human language & tell U to follow. Seems like they can change their appearance only in their father kingdom(=under water). They always get what they want. -Do U have Mermaids in your fairy tales? Now. Imagine! One mermaid became crazy! what she will do? Or she has married with A MONSTAR!!! (Ofcourse, there is no such story!). ;D
Well in my country a mermaid is evil. A lots of good people died because of mermaid. Mermaid has a sad story. Once a girl lived and was happy. She loved a guy and thought of marring him. But the live was cruel to her and her parents got her married to the other guy. So on the wedding day she drown herself. But the spirit still lives. She became a mermaid. And as the revenge to her people she trick them and drown. Why she does it no one really knows but we belive her soul became corrupted and evil doesn't need to have a reason to explain itself. We also belive in lake king or at least we belived once. As any king he need wifes to make children and he needs slaves to work in his world. Its a giant fish. It could be as long as 4m and weight 250kg. Actually he is the true reason people disapear while swimming or crossing the river/ lake.
