Hello dear members, In Facebook yesterday I came across with a post from a page about Kazakhstan which had photos of the ruins of a settlement and a fortress found in Kazakhstan. The caption says it dates to the 8th-13th centuries and it was built by the Qipchaq Turks. Unfortunately no information was given regarding its exact location and 8th-13th centuries it a bit broad timeline to make the settlement-fortress belong to the Qipchaqs who rose into prominence only during the 11th-13th centuries. So does anyone know anything about this fortress? Attachments:

Thank you very much dear Druzhina.
So apparently this fortress is located deep inside Kimäk-early Qipchaq territory.
