Hi all! I've recently finished watching this 6-part TV series called 'On the trail of Genghis Khan'. It's about an Australian guy called Tim Cope and he travels from Mogolia to Hungary on horseback. He does most of the trip alone, filming himself but he does find a lot of people on the way that join him for parts of the journey. I thought that this documentary was just so inspirational and extremely interesting as well. He spends lots of time with several nomad families that live on the steppes and it tells a lot about what life is like living as a nomad. On his journey, he travels from Mongolia, through Kazakhstan, southern Russia, Ukraine and Hungary. I think a lot of you people live near these areas so maybe you heard about him? Here's a link to his page about it. www.timcopejourneys.com/page/journeys/on-the-trail-of-ghengis-khan/ ;D

It is impressive isn't it! Actually Babur, it took him 3 years and he had his horses stolen twice and he lost them once after they bolted off with all his gear. ;D He expected it to take him only 18 months
