I'm guessing they really mean the daughters-in-law of Genghis Khan. I don't think his actual daughters did much.

I read this book a few months ago. It covers a larger era and the best part is about the 15th century Queen Manduhai. Itss really good, and so are this authors other works like "Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World" which has been one of my favorites since I met some of the author's research team when I was at Karakorum back in 2003.
