Guess what it comes down to is the fact that well; we'll never know for sure. Still, so far I've only heard about creation stories as a response to the evidence that gives one the impression that Siberian/Native Americans are inter-related a long time ago...
I'm hoping for stronger evidence that proves native-Americans are not related at all to the Altai. Besides, I don't like the Bering Strait theory at all, and it has been invented/used politically by Western powers, which makes it rather questionable.

Actually archaeological-wise, there have been two major migration lines detected so far. One from the Bering, which makes the North American Natives closer to the Siberians, and one from the Pacific islands, making the South American Natives closer to Pacific islanders.

So I guess the native Americans who insist on the "we've always been here" aspect will have to work harder to convince others of their theory considering the evidence on the contrary. The Bering strait theory has been used politically to justify invasion/assimilation/genocide with the saying "they are aliens to this land too" in other words. However, need harder facts to prove it wrong.
Migration lines, not to mention similarities in culture/looks (North American)... only big thing is... they had no horses until...
And one thing...
?!?! I don't get it really, rather interesting.

During the ice age the oceans retreated back and were frozen up into glaciers. The mass herds of Equines that roamed the earth in that time were able to roam from continent to continent due to the natural land bridges created by the receding oceans. Or so thats what many experts believe is the explanation for equine fossils in the north Americas but no active herds untill they were re introduced by the spanish.

I can say though, MUSTANGS ARE F*%@ing BAD ASS ANIMALS!!!!!!! More pony like than horse like. They are strong and extraordinarily robust animals capable of amazing feats of endurance. Ive ridden them before so I can attest to their strength.

Most cultures were very similar 10,00 years ago. People used to say they came from Siberia. Now they say they came from Siberia and Portugal. Maybe they originated in America. Maybe they mixed with Siberians too.
