Herodotus in his forth book recounts of the Scythian westward migration due to the pressure caused by Issedons from east and north, and this Issedons also being pressed themselves by Arimaspa, any infos?

Benveniste believed the name as 'Ariamasp' meaning 'horse lovers' . And Arthur Christensen in his book Les Kayanides believed that they migrated into Central Asia and helped Cyrus in his eastern punitive expeditions against Sakas.
