Hello , after reading the autobiography of Genghis khan by john man ,i remember a passage about the fact that the Mongols had minted coins during the occupation of Hungary.
when looking for info about it ,i didn't find anything.
anyone knows anything about this subject ,or about surviving specimens of that era?

Never heard of such a thing nor seen any examples The fact is that, just after the conquest of the city of Ġazna (Ghazni) in Afghanistan, Činggis Qan had coins minted there with his name written in Persian. Thus, it is possible that even though the Mongols stayed in Hungary for a short time, they might have minted coins there too.
