Were there any ritual to signify a boy becoming a man? It could be from folklore or stories? I understand that at age 14 - (in Chinggis Kahn's time) that a boy became a warrior. What did it mean for the boy and how was he seen differently from then on?

The Turkic peoples always had that tradition, but I don't know if the Mongols had it or not.

If a boy`s moustache is can be seen he is called man. If he still don`t have moustache (maybe untill 18) that boy sometimes called "Huu-hen" word "Huu" means "boy" word "Huu-hen" means "female" & "girlish" A boy who had (after his first) wet dream is a man. ;D
