Hello plastikglass, welcome to SHF Actually the Persians called him Changîs Khân, it was the Arabs who turned the "Ch" to "J" because it's Arabic which doesn't have the "Ch" sound, Persian has it My bad, I was just wondering why it was so bad to use Chingghis Khan. Most Mongols say it like Chingghis Khan and a lot of historians and scholars emphasize the correct pronunciation over Genghis Khan. Hey, where I said that Chingghis is bad??? Show that, please... I said that Genghis is fine, but did not mean that Chingghis would not be fine!

Seaching The Great Khaan`s tomb is not a good idea -I think. I believe that no one is realy searching for it cuz it will cost quite huge money, instead they inpecting what? where? how much? -I mean mineral resources. Soviet Russia(=CCCP) was first to search & documents always classified as "TOP SECRET". If U say "we are here to find mineral resources" some might no allow it & ask money. But if U say "we are here to find Chinggis Khaan`s tomb" Mongol lords say "Sure". But no one knows what are they realy looking after -that the problem. Body of The Great Khaan is equal to a wonder or some magical item that gives spiritual power. I heard that America & Russia are smart/strong/prosperious because on their lands they managed to collect many (magical/powerful)items from all over the world.

Actually, America became strong through the power of the free-market and the buildup of industrial strength during the Guilded Age of the 1800's.

Somebody once said that, The Great Khan was buried in liu pan mountain(ÁùÅÌɽ£© in Ning xia province of China because he died in there. It,s our Mongol's custom that it's impossible to take body of died for a long journey, because the body will be decayed. If the holy grave is in China, Mongols of Iner Mongolia will use their blood and life to protect it. History has proved our determination, when Japanese invader entered grass land, they wanted to take clothes, saber, and something like that used by Great Khan, from his sacred monument built by his descendants. When Hexigten Mongols and Chahaer Mongols got news, they automatically stand out to fight against Japanese invaders, and escorted Great Khan's monument to Gansu province. The route is bloody, many young ppls died in the battlefield. When his monument was erected in new place, all Mongols who were in site, kneeled down, weeping and crying, some old peoples even lost consciousness as result of excessive sadness. Why you hurt me with such brutal words, even my Mongol brothers and Chinese friends never doubt my Mongol blood. To this point, I,m right, you must make apology to me! You really hurt me! You can ask Saran what,s meaning of Hexigten. It ,s the most brave army of Chinggis Khan. Pls answer me a question, why you built this forum? I think that the purpose of erecting this forum is to make friends, and to discuss some historic events without biased view. My another question is that how do you define a friend? I personally think that the essence of making friend is respect, understanding and communication. Some peoples expect that his friends must subject to him and flatter him(such kind of FRIENDS ARE MUCH MORE SLAVES THAN FRIENDS)---- if friends dare to point out his faults directly or oppose his wrong ideas, he will mistreat his friends or openly attack them. I have said it before, like many Mongols I received my education in China, so my spellings on the stuff of Mongolia are influenced by Chinese language. But I,m doing hard to correct it. You must answer my two questions! When Hexigten Mongols and Chahaer Mongols got news, I doubt you are Mongol or not because you can not write even a single Mongol name with the correct spellings. Just write them correctly man dammit!

BTW I can`t read word Hexigten! its like "Heg-zig-ten". The real form must be Heshigten or Hishigten. Chahaer!? Ar Mongolian don`t use "Cha" we call "Tsahar" "Tsahar" comes from "Zah har"="watch border". I`m sure no Mongol will do mistake about these words. The point is we don`t want to hear Chinese influenced words here. I hope U understand it.

In fact, you can 't make any promises on the pronunciation played by Mongols who live in different areas. Even the president of Rep of Mongolia can't certain about it! By the way, you sounds like a diplomat. BTW I can`t read word Hexigten! its like "Heg-zig-ten". The real form must be Heshigten or Hishigten. Chahaer!?
