Erdene , are you a Mongol? Keeping silence on what those bastards have been doing on grave is more nasty than subject to China. .. ...than being a subject of China??? Is that what you mean...being part of China???

When russians shamed Timur Lenk's grave, two days after Germany, Finland, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and some others attacked to russia. Timur's curse. This "Timur's curse" is nothing more than a fancy mysticism. True, Soviets excavated Timur's grave two days prior to the Nazi invasion of USSR ....BUT Adolf Hitler signed the Operation Barbarossa (invasion of USSR) in December 18, 1940, long before the excavation.

I have made it clearly above sentence you quoted, Khan's grave is the most precious treasure of our nation. So nobody can earn dirty from it. If we keep silence, when enemies touch Khan's grave. it will be a great humiliation toward all Mongol tribes. You must be a son of a rich Mongol family or high official, that why you can go abroad for decent education. We must do something practically, esp do our best to improve the living standard of ordinary Mongols. And build schools of high standard in poor areas. If possible to find a permanent outlet toward ocean which is very important to Mongolia. Independence is paramount and it,s can not be discussed. Erdene , are you a Mongol? Keeping silence on what those bastards have been doing on grave is more nasty than subject to China. .. ...than being a subject of China??? Is that what you mean...being part of China???

My friend, I never doubted his origin, and forever. But I ,m angered when I heard that Khan's grave is at risk, and our Mongols choose to keep silent. We can't earn money through Khan's grave. Chinggis Khan is the spirit of our nation. No one should ever have to question Erdene's ethnicity.

Qaghan should make cencorship about those wrong names for Genghis Khan, which would automatically replace those.

Dear noble Baron, But which one is much more proper and commonly accepted by international standard. Qaghan should make cencorship about those wrong names for Genghis Khan, which would automatically replace those.

Dear noble Baron, But which one is much more proper and commonly accepted by international standard. I think that Genghis is fine. What's wrong with Chingghis Khan? It's the way Mongols say it, they should be the last people on Earth to misspell their leader's name. Most historians have also been transliterating as Chingghis instead of Genghis. Genghis was coined by the Persians because they couldn't pronounce Ch. "Genghis Khan (more properly known as Chinggis Khan)..." www.accd.edu/sac/history/keller/Mongols/empsub1.html

Hello plastikglass, welcome to SHF Actually the Persians called him Changîs Khân, it was the Arabs who turned the "Ch" to "J" because it's Arabic which doesn't have the "Ch" sound, Persian has it

Hello plastikglass, welcome to SHF Actually the Persians called him Changîs Khân, it was the Arabs who turned the "Ch" to "J" because it's Arabic which doesn't have the "Ch" sound, Persian has it My bad, I was just wondering why it was so bad to use Chingghis Khan. Most Mongols say it like Chingghis Khan and a lot of historians and scholars emphasize the correct pronunciation over Genghis Khan.
