The Mongol Art of War , by Timothy May is really good! I especially liked the part where they talk about using supernatural means to defeat their enemies, in this case, the shamans used the "rain stones" to defeat the Jing armies. I am a little surprised to see that he included photos of the Chinggis Khan Cavalry re-enactors as authentic representations of arms and armor. www.chinggis-cavalry.mn/i/?lang=engI very much want to see this show, but based on what I have read, the costuming seems a bit fantastical? I am curious what others here think of them?
