To prevent the Kurdification of entire Turkey, Turkey should give a small and useless mountainous region to those Kurds and it should deport the entire Kurdish population there. Unless they will overrun every non-Kurd in a few decades.
Creating a puppet Kurdistân in the useless mountainous regions on the Iranian-Iraqi-Turkish borderland would be benefitial for the profits of all these three countries. Send those Kurds there and let them live on their "free Kurdistân" - in a few months or perhaps in a few years, they would start fighting each other and they would start to starve because thei population grows out of control.
After all, we would get rid of the Kurds - a big headache - by sending them away from our country. There is no need to loose our soldiers for Kurdish-infested useless mountains where no ethnic Turks live. But of course, while giving away those useless mountains, we must take control of the natural resources of the region because they might be too valuable to be left to the Kurds.
I do not want to live in Turkey together with the Kurds. Let them have their useless mountains! And we should clear away originially-un-Kurdish areas from Kurds by sending all of them to their lands. Either they will leave my beloved Turkey - the real areas not inhabited by the Kurds - or I shall leave this country in a few years.
Although my real intention was never start a political discussion, while I was writing about the road map of Turkic Unification I had to reveal the facts and the Kurdicization of Turkey was an undeniable ongoing. I am really sorry to deviate from the original topic if you consider it a kind of deviation. However, I cannot help myself and I feel that I have to indicate that I am in a total agreement with Tigin on the issue. And unfortunately, it is an inevitable reality that Turkey will finally come to a dead end and turning point in her huge efforts to maintain her integrity as long as a total evolution becomes more and more apparent and obvious in a slow pace. Kurdicization is an observable and recordable process in Turkey. You can check 1930 and 1965 censuses. Then you will see that Kurds make 5% of total population in 1930 and 7,5% in 1965. It is attested that birth ratios in Kurdish inhabited areas increased three times between 1970-1990 and five times between 1990-2005. Today it is estimated that Kurds make 25% of total population in Turkey. (This is an estimation , there is no definite and certain information about the ethnic and demograpic changes in Turkey so Kurdish increase and population may be more than estimated.)While Turks have been having one or two children in their lifetimes in accordance with family planning programmes for almost 20 years, Kurds have been prone to have 5-10 children in the same period of time. And this doubled , tripled or more -pled their amount. That is an irrefutable and indeniable fact. One who objects to it can be thought as being in effort of distorting or concealing the reality.
It is estimated (by Amrerican or European sociologists and by Kurdish nationalist environs) that Kurdish population will reach upto 48% of total population while Turks are being decreasing by 0,8% and in an increasing percentage each year which finally will have made Turks decrease to 25-26% of total population. Although Turks do not have a low increase rate, their increase is trivial in comparison to Kurdish one. And Ethnic Turks suffer from massive aging and related deaths. While Kurds generate next generations in Turkey. Turks gradually become a minority silently while blinds and deafs are singing the songs of fraternity.
Some people like Kokturk, our friend here , ignoring these facts, might say that the only land we can give to Kurds is 2 meters below the ground-level. Against such an uttering, I would like to remind my friend that he says this thanks to the self-confidence provided by being the majority and sovereign people in Anatolia of our time, and that it would be much more difficult to maintain the sovereignty on the country and the control over Kurds when they reached a population twice more than Turks and that May God not show us those days, when those days came, he could not make a little noise just because of fear of security and safety of life. I think he and people like him are not really aware of the situation in the places where once Turks were majority (we are not talking about a very old time it is just the when our republic was founded.) become minority among rapidly reproducing Kurds. It is told that Kurds are not very friendly against Turks living as minority among them in cities like Erciþ Van, Tatvan Bitlis, Adilcevaz Bitlis, Ahlat Bitlis, Bulanýk Mush, Malazgirt Mush, Çemiþgezek Tunceli, Pertek Tunceli, Hozat Tunceli, Çüngüþ Diyarbakir, Çermik Diyarbakir, Siverek Sanliurfa , Elazig , Agri, Tutak Agri, Igdir etc... while they are singing for fraternity among majority Turks and they are enjoying ral feelings of fraternity of Turks towards Kurds in cities like Ardahan, Kars, Erzurum , Erzincan, Malatya, Adiyaman, Antep, Adana, Mersin, Ýstanbul, Ankara, Ýzmir, Bursa and so on....
A lesson from history of formerly Kurdicized cities like Van Hakkari Mush Bitlis Diyarbakir and so on:
Kurds who are little brothers when they are in minority become lords when they become majority.
By writing these I never aim to create hostility between Turks and Kurds and I do not bear any racialistic biases. These are only what has been being experienced for ages.
As Tigin referred separation and division can be the solution for continuity of Turkishness in Anatolia, and if it can be done under Turkish dictation and Turkish will, Turkey will benefit from it much, in my opinion too.
In order to realization of such a disintegration and separation the places where Turks were majority in the years when our republic was founded should definitely remain in Turkey.
Once I heard that the cities nad settlements I will give you below were of Turkish majority, but now highly Kurdicized and shown in so called Kuridstan maps.
Provide information about the Turkic past and present of these settlement and the amounts of Turkish residents of these places to rescue as much as from Anatolia from a coming Kurdistan. Starter of this illimunation about Turkish proper lands can be this forum. Why not.
I think we should open a new thread regarding this historical issue.
Historical Turkish cities where have been highly Kurdicized now:
Van: City centre and Ercis district. Local Turks found
Bitlis:City Centre and Tatvan Adilcevaz And Ahlat districts. In adilecevaz and Ahlat Turks are still majority. Tatvan is about to be lost.
Agri: City Centre and Tutak district. The same events as in Mus . see Mus. Local Turks found..
Igdir: Non Kurdish city before 1910s Turks make 3/1.
Kars: The same as Igdir.
Erzurum: Non Kurdish city before 1910s. Turks make 3/2
Mush: Turks were a minority in city cente. Only Bulanik and Malazgirt districts had a Turkish majority before being massacred and exposed to massive immigration by Armenians. After Armenian Relocation , unfortunately These districts Bulanik and Malazgirt was rushed by Kurds from the mountains around and until the republic was founded Turks remained 3/1 of the population. These ditrict still have Turkish population.
Tunceli:Cemisgezek, Pertek and Hozat has still a considerable Turkish population. As far as I know the East of Tunceli have always been of Kurdish majority.
Diyarbakir: Was a mostly Turkish inhabited city. Azerbaijani Turkish dialects were spoken. Kurdicized after 1920s. City Center Cungus and Cermik districts still have Turks.
SanliUrfa:City Centre Siverek and Western districts along the Euphrates has still a considerable Turkih population.
1/4 of the city is consisted of Turkish population The rest is Kurds and Arabs.
Westward beyond Euphrates is Turkish proper land.
Please provide ethnodepographic info about the present situation These cities may be included by Turkey. Inevitable is inevitable. Now may be we are determining our new borderline, if not Kurdistan will reach Meric River.
