I once read an article on a coin of the Indo-Scythian king Azes I (58BC). This coin depicts the king on horseback. His armour consisted of a solid metal breastplate for the upper torso and a skirt of small metal plates joined by leather straps. The skirt was split in the front and the back to fall properly when on horseback. His arms were protected by seperate (leather?)bands joined loosely together. The horse has (leather?) head and neck protection with small reindeer horns at the head. Unfortunately there wasn't a picture of the coin with the text. Since then I'm looking for a picture of this particular coin.I've seen many coins of Azes I since then, but no one which matches the discription in the text. Can someone help me in my search to find a picture of the coin? Thanks. Greetings.
