well I call it azeri since in iran they dont like being called turks,
also azeri isnt a turkic tribe, they only speak a form of turkish in inpedentdent azerbaijan,
All the azeri I have meet feel ashemed of them being from cenrtal asia, they say instead that they are arians that speak turkish which would be the right definition for azeri people since they have a non turkic name as thier ethnic people name,
maybe u get upset but u should go to iran and see how many of them that feel like azeris, not many at all,
azeris feel like they are the same as persian since they are shia , they dont consider them of being turks but rahter iranians and shia,
if u dont belive me go to iran and u will see

If you do not know, there are a country called Azerbaijan. I do not care what Azeris in Iran thinks. Also, Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani Turks are secular nation, so there is no shia-sunni talk. A religion cannot define some ones ethnicity. Poles are Catholic while Russians are Orthodox, they are both Slavs. Also, I doubt what you say. This is from Azeris in Iran. Look what they say during a football match, this is from Tebriz. "Azerbaijan is ours, Afghanistan (Fars) is yours".

Ok, not this "Azeris/Azerbaijani Turks are Turkic/non-Turkic" talk again. Everyone, either just talk about Azerbaijani culture in a proper way, or just shut up!
