Can someone help me, I made a couple of authentic javelins, but now I have a problem to make authentic bag for them. Also do not know how they carried. I found a bunch of sources that mention these cases, but none of them mentioned how the infantry wore no other details. I would be interested in bag that carry by infantry, around 9 centuries. Thanks

Not sure if they have special bags for that.
I know that Romans and Greek used special leather belts called amentum to tide up and carry several javelins which were also used for throwing them.
Also, Steppans used special long quivers to store their jareeds.

yeah this is a bit problematic. i only know of cavalry examples of javelin bags. infantry usually is depicted as carrying the javelins in the other hand.

Thank you very much, unfortunately, then I will carry only 2 to 3 Javelin I believe that it is not unique to infantry used javelin bags for cavalry? one more thing Whether it is OK to open the topic in offtopic section in which I would show you a few of my works, I want to hear your opinion on them?
