About the Draco thing.Yes this was what i meant.The Dacians used to wear it with them in their battles.The Thracians had other beliefs and gods.

Hehe, recently I've seen a documentary (I think it was an episode of Time Team - a great show) where they tried to reconstruct the Roman draco. And they had serious trouble making it so that it would produce a sound at all, let alone a terrifying howling. I wonder how it worked in antiquity. (they tried a whistle inside, like if you blow through a blade of grass, but it wouldn't make a sound, even if they rode around quite fast) Sorry for the derailing, I just thought of that.
