I've read several theories on the ethnic origins of the Khazars. Some historians like Ýbrahim Kafesoðlu claim that the main bulk of the Khazar Turks were the descendents of the Sabar Turks who ruled the Caspian Steppes in the 5th-6th centuries some other scholars say that they were a part of the Western Tujue people, showing Chinese sources calling the Khazars Hesa Tujue as evidence.

I read that Khazars were originaly from unification of Huns tribes that united under the presure of the constant wars with romans, slovaks, and agressive tribes. Then jews who migrated from the roman empire joined the Khaganate later they replaced the ruler for one of their bloods and reinforced the Khaganate.

I think (though I'm not very sure) the Khazars were a part of the Türük peoples* who migrated to the Caspian Steppes in the second half of the 6th century or the first half of the 7th century. But I must admit I didn't make too much indept research on them.
One thing I know is that their dynasty was Turkic and not Jewish (they were Judaists, not Jews).
* I use this term for the Gök Türks, On Oqs, Khazars, etc who have been associated with the Tujue by the Chinese.

About Chineese they didn't know much about Kazakrs! Not in their intrest. They were more concerned about Silk Way. and trade. I thought that Khazars were formed after the collapse of Turik Kaganate and assume some tribes from Turik Kaganate where at it footsteps.
I didn't say Judas were the fathers of Khazars but lately their royalty and nobility where consisted from Judas ;D
Have you ever heard Judas or jew runing around and screaming about their origin. NOP. It was a beautiful political combination. Check the political history of any Kingdom or Goverment and you will find them through any nation exept nigro and chinesee "Hans". Note at the begining Khazars engaged the wars through needs of nation but close to the sun set of the Khaganate they fought for some strange reasons which lead to negative image of Khazars through neighbors and they allied to crush Khazars.

The ruling class of the Khazar Qaghanate was always Turkic. They were not Jewish.

Your are the fan of Turks  Thats good  Khazars were first established by Tyrk (Nomads) thats true but at the begining! Then KHazars became the first kingdom with the feudal system and first kingdom that accepted the jewdism(I don't know how to translate it  ) as the religion. That must be telling you something. I must say Khazars were fine solders they helped to stop Arab expansion and made some good raids on NOmads and Sovaks. |

I have read that Khazaars adopted Toora (Old Testament) but not Talmud and their descendants are Karaites nowadays, who still burns Talmud-books in Yom Kippur.  ;D |

Well the Khazars were Judaists, not Jewish (Jew is the name of an ethnic group, Judaist is the name given to the followers of a religion) That's sort of true. In the US there is no distinction between Jew as ethnic group and Jew as religious group while in Russia and some other countries Jew is an ethnic group. Moreover, in Judaism, converts are considered Jews whether they are ethnically related or not. |
