Yeah I like Nadir Shah as a commander, but his accomplishments were in essence negative for us Azeri Turks. If he had not won those wars against the Ottomans, Turkey and Azerbaijan would most likely be one country today. How nice that would have been.

Agreed upon he was the best commander of CA origin of his time indeed was he a robber, criminal. he is resented and could be taken by pan-turkists, cause persians do not praise him, he is resented. Wow you guys should praise him really, cause without him Iran today would be smaller and almost completely desert.

Iran is not in lacking of heroes of the time and so become a desert , that's how this country despite sworn enemies survive, besides even if there was no one in time of Nader to confront the Afghans, so that Ottomans like could occupy Azarbaygan, Iranians would never ever let anyone annex this fertile parts of their lands, as it never will happen in future.

That does not change the facts, Nadir was the Napoleon of the east, without him Iran would be minus Azerbaijan and most likely the oil producing regions of Ahwaz. The only reason S. AZ is a part of Iran is because Iran has been ruled by Turks for a 1000 years leading up to 1925 (with minor abruptions like Shah Abbas and others), so just accept the fact that Azerbaijan belongs Turks and will always belong to Turks, and God willing will be freed of Persian political tyranny soon. There are already signs of discontent, naturally no free minded people can tolarate the rigid repression and the neanderthal assimilation methods of the Persians. Not only us, but also the Balouch (God bless them), the Turkmen, The Arabs, and the Kurds are sick of this injustice, and sooner or later the beast of Persian tyranny will be put down, and of course the fatal blow will come from the noble and deeply Turkish town of Tebriz, and watch out for Erdebil as well, as they charge forth with the screams of YA EBULFEZ.

What are you talking about? The Ottomans had already taken Azerbaijan, Nadir took it back, also the region of Ahwaz was taken by Nadir.

He high probably did it all for accession to the throne of Iran but it would not be quite fair not considering his deeds in keeping Iran's solidarity yet after all he is not a hero cause he for no good reason attacked India and plundered that place under name of Iran (the same centuries ago Mahmud of Ghazne did). We here usually do not take pleasure in being remembered as raiders.

One must be a simpleton to think the wounded land of Iran and it's Iranic people would let any pan - guys to seize a part of land they took with bloodshed in about centuries ago. No man normal people who are not suffering from certain mental disorders even in those regions won't yield to some newly madup propagandas. But be sure of that Iranians after almost 1400 years of suffering from Arabs, Turks and Mongols and their false descendants won't let them to inflict any more damages to our existence anymore. The history itself is a testimony of who was the most Tyrannt. those like idiotic Qajars usurpers, ( beasts you said?! the true beasts in Iran could be well understood from dawn of the Ghaznavids down to pathetic sunset of Qajars) .Time is over for some new movements from Turkists in Iran people in here ain't naive anymore man. you keep dreaming on!

Brother Ihsan, he has already crossed the line, he is too blind to see the repression and the forced assimilation by the current Persian tyrant regime. He is too blind to see that even people that are related to the Persians like the Balouch, Kurds, and the Pashtuns hate the tyrant regime. He is so confused that he attacks Nadir Shah, the man solely responsible for the current borders of Iran. He is bitter and he has crossed the line AGAIN, and he will cross the line AGAIN, he should have been banned last time for calling Turks "uncivilized, militaristic, robbers of the land and wealth of the far more civilized sedentery people", he should have been banned there because of those are harsh words. He has declared that he is the enemy of the Turk, he will never say anything positive about Turks, but he will be the first to chime in for negative stuff. He needs to be banned before he does this AGAIN.

I didnt refer to modern Turks. but I think, Ihsan, you should read this Azeri guy's post first.(I didnt refer to them as beasts and certainly neither their descendant, did I? how do you say so?) that is too offensive and he used the word BEAST. Why do you warn me? have you read my post completely?! I m not here to struggle with Azeri pan-turkists cause arguing with them when it goes about professional history they start to insult rather than to respond, if I wanted so I would go on to their forum. But these guys continuously insulted me without receiving proper warning. What now cause I repeated their words( and not in the same rude manner) I am warned and am crossing the borders?! I ask myself "Did I start such bunk arguments with them or they? that's an important question no?

Apparently if one read my related posts you talkiing about again, will see those are NOT my words you saying now(this you do is called falsification) I think what has gone is too obvious for me to explain again.
I'd rather focus my posts on the topics again, and certainly do not want to hear RUDE words.

Yes, I think Kirischi is also acting too agressive. Everyone needs to calm down and start discussing in a gentlemen's way.

Afshars are one of tribes of Azerbaijani Turks. They are not a separate nation of their own. They are either part of Anatolian or Azerbaijani Turks. In case of Nader Shah, he wasn't from Anatolia. He was from Khorasan, however his clan migrated to Khorasan from Azerbaijan.

the qajar where from southern turkmenistan, or turkmensahra they where not azeri's there is today a tribe called qajar in turkmensahra , they came from there and not from azerbaijan ;D Qajars are again one of tribes of Azerbaijani Turks. Qajars indeed settled near Turkmen Sahra, but they settled there later from Azerbaijan. As you say, today there is still a tribe called Qajar in that area, they speak dialect of Azeri Turkish. You can also see the Afshar of Khorasan speaks a dialect of Azeri Turkish. The source is Columbian university.
