After reading "Genghis Khan Making of the modern world", I was embarassed to not knowing a hell lot of great events of the past. Now if I have time I will get Jack Weatherford's "History of Money". His study of money turned into study of Gengis khan, I believe. A friend of mine was studying in Minessota state (sp?) university and showed me the book and the authors signature was on that. It was a very stressful experience when you read you feel excited and embarassed at the same time. I highly recommend this book.
