Why you think Fengs-hui has treat to our nomardic tradition. There is no link between them. Feng-shui is a more commercial thing. For example,Before estate men buy a land, he usually invite Feng-shui man to that land, and listen his advice on that land bought. It,s a superstition. What do U ppl think about Feng-shui? What do U know about it? Is it foreign threat for Nomadic beliefs & traditions?

I mean THE CULTURE WAR! (whos culture & traditions is more useful/right?) Wow! I didn`t know it was not Feng-Shui but Fengs-hui. I guess Fengshui was built on the old Chinese beliefs -am I right? Its more like Chinese way of life -am I right? For example : Bell on door! if U put Bells on door it will chases away evil spirits that were following the entering person. (This one is very popular among shops, restaurants...etc Well...it realy helps when someone enter the room by telling about it. But traditionaly Mongols never used bells on doors. Yes shamans use bells & metal objects to chase away or catch evil spirits. By Mongol way evil spirits will not enter the room if it has door with doorstep. If guest falls when he was entering this will bring good luck, if guest falls when leaving it will bring bad luck. The POINT is ppl who don`t know their traditions will buy useless bells made by chinese & will think that it will chase away evil spirits. Mongols long believed that sound of metal/bell is a not good thing. Its called "Haranga" means "Alert!","Run away!"..etc -I guess it is not good way to hear "Alert" everytime when someone enter or leave. ) Temur I think U know Fengshui better than me! Tell us about other Chinese superstitions related to Fengshui!?.

I,m very happy that we can chat in normalized way. In fact, I know little about Fengshui. I,m a guy between reality and superstition, sometimes I was dazzled by some miracles which can not be explained by science. When I return to Beijing with my family, I met a strange thing. One day I went out with my Chinese friends to visit the remanent of Yuan Mongol Empire in Chao yang district, when we got there, a Hawk fall on the Monument of Yuan palace before me, staring at me. You know you can't see hawks in a big modern city! I made a dream that night in which a noble Mongol woman, looks like a queen ,came to my bed side and smile to me, and I was weeping until I was wake up by sadness. Frankly speaking, When I stand before that monument, I felt very bad, but I hide my feeling before my Chinese friends. I purposely went to a Daoist temple and ask a old Daoist father about my dream. He just said maybe it predicted something in your furture. in fact, I don't understand his meaning. If you will, pls teach me Mother language everyday. Even though, I know you don't like me. Before Nazi Germany invaded Russia, some astrologists was executed by Hitler because they seem to know some important things. Does astrology have something related to supernatural. I nearly forget to answer this question. Chinese perspective toward Nomadic life is complex. Half brutal and half free feeling. America and western world saw Mongol Empire as a Brutal Empire. I know a lot of American and European friends, most of them saw Mongol Empire like this way. And some even have no ideas on nomadic life. Yup, I admit that Chinese culture influenced me alot, but I still act like a free soldier. I,m always the most naughty student in Chinese school. What do U ppl think about Feng-shui? What do U know about it? Is it foreign threat for Nomadic beliefs & traditions?

Like all "made in China" things, Feng-shui is an unnecessary, ridicilous, phoney, fake and third-class thing.

I see... Temur U are useless in this topic! However, answer to one question : "What do Chinese use to make a male child to be born?, do they use items or worship to ancestors/temples? It is said Fengshui covers all aspects of human life so there must be something in Fendshui!? (-important thing to know for all Chinese! cuz every chinese family want to have a son)" Let`s be more serious on this Topic!. Mongols long lived in Gers(=Yurts). Ger is like one room or circle. It has only one door & roof window called "Toono". Fire place, Gods, Beds,...etc everything has its own rightful place in a circle. This became a real Yosa(=Yasa) that U can`t change. But now many live in many (square) roomed apartments. It seems like the old Yosa of putting things in right place has gone with gers. Still no one is building circle apartments! During soviets educated Mongol families lived like Russians. In schools & at homes Mongols started to grow house plants. I mean adopted a new culture. Now Fengshui is going to add more contrast to it making Mongols more Chinese like. Fengshui advices which plant to grow, what colors U need, where to put things to harvest more so called good energy...etc. They even advice amulets for happiness, good luck, money..etc. Then question occurs "what is wrong with our old (bone) amulets?".(Our Mongolian amulets does not promise money. They mostly for spiritual power & safety.) Presently ppl start to think "Money is Power"(also everyone dream about easy money!) -well..yes that`s true! If your country is poor it means your country is weak. But if ppl are mentally poor it means country is in danger. I think, believing that these Chinese made items will bring U more money, health...etc & buying them -is wrong!. Only chinese might profit from it. More danger is U are losing your identity/who U are. Your acting/living like Chinese. Your not longer believing to what your ancestors believed, instead you are believing to what chinese ancestors believed -Do U think this is normal?. U live sedentary, but U still can stay a nomad in way of thinking/acting. To Baron : -What is situation in Finn-land? ;D To Temur again : About your dream! "I made a dream that night in which a noble Mongol woman, looks like a queen ,came to my bed side and smile to me, and I was weeping until I was wake up by sadness."-If this women wasn`t your relative(like grandmother) LOL your gone crazy!. I believe, there are some stories, that during Manchu rule, many noble women(who tryed to teach moral) were unjustly accused for being witch & been burned/killed. And so their soul hunt ppl who accused them!. So that`s why your soul was shaking from fear!. ;D About bird! I hope U see things well. Birds are servents of Tengri. They can bring good or bad news while most land animal bring bad news. A quetion : did U saw that bird early in the morning or late afternoon?

It,s a biased eye on gender, Chinese like boy esp for Chinese peasants. Chinese peasants want boy because boys are more useful in farm work than girls. It has no direct relation between boy and Fengshui. I was not scared by that noble woman in my dream. I just felt warm and love. I saw that Hawk in afternoon. Pls don't kidding me! i,m also serious on this topic. I see... Temur U are useless in this topic!
