Russian looking ones are ethnic Russians What is russian-looking? There is no one phenotype of russian-looking. Compare for example Yeltzin and Putin. And about Buryat-mixing, I have question to Bor Chono: Wasn't Ataman Semjonov/Semenov (Leader of Trans-Baikal Cossacks and Ungern Khan's ally) Buryat+Cossack mixture?

I think Yeltzin looks like a Mongol Warrior. Russian looking ones are ethnic Russians What is russian-looking? There is no one phenotype of russian-looking. Compare for example Yeltzin and Putin. I agree, these Russian looking ones must be Russian. They just look too Russian rather than Buryat. Even if they have mixed they can't pass as an ethnic Buryat by now.

Modern Mongols are very mixed, and we can't judge by skin/look/features one's ethnicity that much no more. Big eyes, dark skin, light hair - these physical traits are already a part of us. Small eyes, golden skin, dark hair are lot more seductive though in my opinion. And yes those Buryat girls are pretty, but as with the rest of Siberia - unless they actively seek out complete independence or merging with other Altaic nations - it'll stay under the Russian Federation's leadership. If only we had known they had oil!!!

My brother-in-law was in border patrol in near of China and he saw many Buryats. He told that Buryats not care so much of russian federation occupation, but they are more anti-chinese.
