In Finland, there is a sort of search engine called Finna ( link), where is pretty much every museum item, photograph, books, archives, libraries, etc. listed with some information (physical items have photos and description, for example) and keywords. These count not only finnish, but also items from Estonia and finno-ugric- tribes from Russia. This kind of site is very useful for searching books and researching cultural history of rural people. So my question is, does other countries have these, and if so, what are they? In this case (of steppe nomadic culture), It is Russia, Mongolia and Central-Asia countries. If there are none, are there books telling properly about how different nomadic peoples lived?
