Hey guys,
First post here on this forum but I have been lurking and reading posts from time to time here.
I have a question that's been bugging me for some time now and to which I can't seem to find an answer on the internet.
What happened to the nobility of the Köktürk Khanate after the it got abolished? did they persist as nobility in other tribes/Khanates under other names or did they just dissappear?
thank you for your attention.

Hello kursad, welcome aboard.
The surviving members of the Ashina dynasty in the Eastern Qaghanate took refuge in China. Their traces were lost after a few generations.
A branch of the dynasty in the west ruling the Khazars became independent following 630, and they ruled as the qaghans of the Khazars until the downfall of the Khazar Qaghanate. What happened to the members of this dynasty following its fall is unknown, unfortunately.

Indeed there is a theory like that. that theory was originally proposed by a Chinese historian name Zhu Xueyuan it may very well be the hidden truth, some Manchu/Jurchen tribes had Turkic lineage

Indeed. Perhaps some Mongolic tribes and clans also had. Mongols for sure had Turkic elements, esp in Western Mongolia The upper caste Nirun Mongols descent from Shiwei/Xianbei and Shiwei/Xianbei are now considered Proto-Turkic by some Historian Nirun means "pure" or "white" in Mongolian language, so they may very well be Turkic tribes instead
