www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6uG64YBZ5YAs funny as it is, in truth after a while, crap like this will just end up discrediting and promoting prejudice against the acknowledgement of the contributions of steppe people as a whole! Or do I just worry too much?

It's funny how he uses the horrible movie as proof of this. And yes, it's sad people like this effectively prevent westerners from wanting to learn about steppe cultures. Our good friend Ancalimon does something similar, only in writing.

Or do I just worry too much? I'd say that no one at all would actually acknowledge any contribution of steppe people to civilization let alone themselves. So your worries are unnecessary. This video wouldn't really have any strong impact.

Our good friend Ancalimon does something similar, only in writing. If you got personal problems with Ancalimon, solve it elsewhere, and stop attacking him in every single post you make.

These shots are from the movie "King Arthur", but the other speculations belong to the maker of the video. I like the movie itself even though it depicts Sarmatian culture only superficially and in fact is not concerned much with it. I think the inspiration for the movie was the book of C. Scott Littleton and Linda A. Malcor "From Scythia to Camelot".
At least one thing is correct - many of the subjects and plots in Arthurian cycle of legends have their prototypes in Scythian tradition and almost exact counterparts in the Nartian epic.

When one uses a fact/publishing out of context and then twists it up to promote his/her own propaganda the original research will be discredited. Same effect with modern usage of I.E. or even modern day Christianity as examples. Hence I worry... oh well...

was there ever some kind of "start of twelve years period to become a ruler" among English?
