My Mongol brother. In fact, when I saw the documentary of Junggar made by Chinese experts, my tear pouring down , and felt very bad. Mongol peoples have been divided so long that they distrust each other. Iner Mongol peoples and Mongolia peoples don't trust each other, sometimes they look down upon each other. I,m working hard, and trying to earn huge bucks. I do it for rebuilding confidence of Mongols, and eliminate poverty in my hometown(Rep of Mongolia) I will devote all my property even my life to my motherland. Recently, union of Mongol people is the most crucial point.( people of iner Mongols, Crimean Tartars) I saw this movie 2 months before. It,s very perfect, even though I know nothing about Russian language. This movie mainly talk about Kazak fought against Junggar Mongol tribe. Junggar Mongol was located in Xingjiang(eastern Turkistan). This tribe invaded Kazakstan, and raided Mongolia around 16th century. Finally Junggar Mongol tribe was defeated by Manchu (Qing Empire). The defeat was a total destruction. Qian long Emperor lead an army consisted of Manchu eight banners, Mongol troops, and Chinese soldier(Xiang jun) made a brutal genocide on this tribe( nearly 200,000 Junggar was butchered except for an new born infant. The vanguard of massacre are Manchu 8 banners. Under the help of Mongol and Chinese soldiers, few Junggar mongols fled to Mongolia or covered themselves among Chinese. Tis a shame we massacred our own people. This is what life was like before Genghis Khan, the disunited masses of nomads dreaded with internecine warfare.

Everytime when I read the history of zhun ge er Mongol, I felt very sad. Manchrian eight banner butchered 200,000 Mongols in Xing jiang(eastern turkistan). Meanwhile, I don,t understand why Mongol tribes didn,t unite together, if they didn,t attack each other, Mongol can reconquer China again. And it was said that many Mongol soldier served in Manchu army, when Manchu broke "Shan hai guan"(great wall) 1 out of 5 is Mongol.

She is not Mongolian version of Jeann d'Arc, she is a noble and brave Queen of Mongolia. In fact , Mongols never gave up their decent right to regain their power in China. But my ancestor's dream was frustrated by first and third Ming Emperors(Zhu Yuan Zhang and Zhu di). Those two Emperor got upper hand in the war of holding decent rule in China, and nearly occupied all Mongolia. In the mid of Ming dynasty, one Mongol army(Wa le) sieged Beijing and captured Ming Emperor. It,s a great victory ;D.!!!!! So she was some kind of Mongolian Jeanne d'ArcNice, indeed

In Han dynasty of China, War Emperor Wu Di( Liu Che) sent Zhang Qian to there, unfortunately he was captured by Huns. 10 years after he and his Hun's wife fled, and completed his Emperor's order. During the war between Han and Huns, Yue Zhi provided Turk horse to Han army, because Chinese hourse breed is inferior to Huns breed.

I know this tribe but my knowledge is limited and superficial. This tribe originally lived in Gansu province and was pushed to central Asia by Huns(Xiong nu) They probably belongs to Turk tribe. Let's talk about the origin of yuezhi, anybody knows about them? I know there's many connections made for them, inlcuding proto-Tibetan, Hun and Tocharians, but take note that the words Tochar did not appear in Chinese literature until 6th century, which was prefering in Afghanistan.

You question for me is a big topic, I have to make up my mind at first, and pick some evidences out from books. And then I will show you! But I,m certain that the armor of Suleyman the Magnificent 's time is more pratical than his Chinese contemporary. To this point, you can find in osprey magazine. I personally think Turkish weapon and armor are much more pratical than Chinese one. wich armour whould that be the light or heavycavalary or infantry wich geography & timeperiode? wich weapons Kili?dao in chinese) recurved composite bow, maces, lances.

I personally think Turkish weapon and armor are much more pratical than Chinese one. Yes I agree. Historical Chinese armor is more flexible and more practical. Just use the Google Image Search Engine and find out yourself, dear members of SHF
