I was in the Kaz (Ida) Mountains this summer and there I saw some examples of Yoeruek tents from the Northwestern Anatolia, they were identical to those in Central Asia. I guess it's only the Yoerueks of Taurus who use the Arabic bedouin type of tents among the Turkic peoples.

U ppl need to see what Gers(=yurts) Mongols do build nowdays. They are master pieces in huge sizes!

Different tents have their unique meaning respectively,and I have noticed differences among them. Kazakstan' tent is very familuar with Mongolia's. while Turkish,s tent has a tip top.

That photo is taken in the garden of the Ethnography Museum of Ankara. The statue depicts Mustafa Kemâl Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Turkey (president between 1923-1938).
