Looking for input please.
Can anyone provide me with an illustration of a Scythian/Sarmatian horse bridle. I find parts on various web sites but cannot discern what part of the headstall or bridle these would be...

those are however Scythians, not Sarmatians btu i think for the horse bridle there will be no major difference...

The Greeks portrayed the Scythians as Caucasoid and very hairy (i.e. long-haired, mustached and bearded). The Persians portrayed the Saka in a similar fashion. Even the Scythians portrayed themselves in such a fashion: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:ScythianWarriors.jpg

Did U saw this pic those men looks like more than caucausians or europeans... well yes and no. the 2 on the sides look more asiatic than caucaid end even the blonde bearded guy has quite high cheekbones. and yes eurasian people do look verry variated(different) thats why we are discribed as asian looking by some and more caucaid looking by others. never the les good picture
