Nowruz 2011, will fall on March20 Sunday 2011. That means, March 16 is "Charshambe Suri"
Traditional Nowruz, usually begins with Charshambe Suri, and ends with the thirteenth day counting from Nowruz (Sizdah Bedar, or "passing the thirteen"). In total, it is usually around 16-17 days.
In these 17 days or so, every day can be a day of festivity. For example, there are three Wednesdays (Charshambes) which are of some significance, and there is a Sizdah Bedar at the end. Of course, there is a Nowruz Day. These days are occasions to celebrate.
I wish these international dignitaries can be invited to the cities of Xining and Xunhua of the Qinghai Province, or to Beijing in order to celebrate Nowruz with the Salar people.
1) UNESCO: It would be nice to send a letter to General Secretary Ban Kimun. If the GS is busy, then he will delegate his aids to attend the Salar celebrations.
2) Officials of Culture and Tourist ministries from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Tatarstan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan.
3) The embassy and consulate staff of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia (representing Tatarstan), Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan.
4) Internationally renowned scholars on Turkic studies, and artists/performers in Turkic music and art.
5) Invite Chinese scholars, artists and musical performers who are especially of Ethnic Minority background, or are renowned for their involvement in Ethnic Minority cultures.
6) Invite Exchange Students, Exchange Workers, Businessmen from Oghuz Countries (Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan) living in Beijing or major cities around China. Invite friends from Oghuz Countries who are willing to travel to China to celebrate Nowruz with the Salars.
Following are some links related to preparation, and celebration of Nowruz back in 2010, the International Year of Nowruz announced by the UN.

salars.cn/bbs/viewthread.php?tid=4597&extra=&page=2Please specifically read the following two suggestions:
1)
If next year the Salars need to invite UN and international cultural officials to attend Nowruz celebrations in Xunhua, Xining and Xi'an. Please send out invitations as soon as possible.

2)
The activities in Xi'an in 2010 was especially impressive. We must spread the message of this great success, so that other schools may organize under the "Nowruz Flag" and "Salar Totem Flag" designed by the Youth Organization in Qinghai. I wish their activities are as exciting as Xi'an's.

Qinghai's Ethnic Han Chinese New Year
Please search: I wish one day, on the New Year of the Salars---Nowruz, we can celebrate it as proudly as the Han Chinese. Let's sing, dance, sacrifice adha, jump fire, fry breads, race horses, practice archery, recite poetry, make Du'a, and boil Semeni, and dance to the "Camel Dance". Let the entire Qinghai Province celebrate our Nowruz!
