I once saw that book in a bookstore in Sultanahmet-Istanbul. It was far too expensive and when I checked the book, I couldn't see any footnotes nor any citations. Though I didn't have enough time to examine it in detail :/ But yes, the title is cool.

I don't remember exactly as I saw it years ago, but it was probably something around 70-80 dollars.

I got two books which are actually translations of Persian sources on the early history of the Seljuq: The Ghaznavid and the Seljuq Turks: Poetry as a source for Iranian history History of the Seljuq State: A Translation with commentary of the Akhbar al-dawla al-saljuqiyya There are two other books on the history of early seljuq state: Early Seljuq History: A New Interpretation The Great Seljuqs: A History These four books all belong to the Routledge Studies in the History of Iran and Turkey series. Very expensive hehe

i just noticed A. C. S. Peac.o.c.k., who wrote the book "Early Seljuq History: A New Interpretation" released a new book called "the Great Seljuk Empire" as expensive hardcover and cheaper paperback earlier this month. i'll get the paperback, but perhaps not before may... edit: stupid word censor doesn't like the name of the author...
