Turkmen clans composed of Oghuz tribes that for sure. Yet you might have also neglected the other Turkic migrations even from Oghuz tribes, who were called Oghuz of Iraq you preceded the guys you say. But that doesn't still explain the ethnic background of Azeris as only Tukic you support. They are massive mixture of many ethnicities and races, and like Robbie Williams said in one his songs to himself, ,,you can see it from their faces''

For the sake of it, in what way do Azeri Turks resemble Arabs? What is next?
And no, we are neither like Persians or Caucasians. Lezgins are very different for instance, and don't tell me that someone from Shiraz are same as someone from Tabriz or even further Baku.

In what way they resemble Arabs? What is it again? are reasons like this the backbone of your judgments? By the way you are confusing terms that in professional practice aren't the same; The term Persian can't be confused with more inclusive term 'Iranians', cause Persians were one of the many Iranian peoples, but throughout history were considered as whole Iranians present in their Kingdoms especially in Iranian plateau and eastern Iran, firstly by Greeks and then Arabs. Yes, that is very possible because the diversity of faces in Iran and Azerbaijan republic is to such extent, that it is possible to find almost any face and complexion in both countries, which may resemble each other.

People from Tabriz and Baku look quite different, those in Southern/Iranian Azerbaijan look exactly the same with Persians and other Iranians as far as I could see, personally I can't distinguish between the two. The Azeris of Azerbaijan or Northern Azerbaijan (the republic) look more like Anatolian Turks and southern Caucasians.

You can take the example of Ardabil with Baku. Persians as people who inhabit the southern regions are pretty much diverse but you still get to see how they looked like when you travel to the mountaineous regions of northern Persis, where they look quite authentic with the reliefs of Persepolis.
