I recently stumbled onto this website: aton.swco.ttu.edu/turkishlist.aspIt's got a pethora of information about Turks- I can't read a lot of Turkish but for those who are more advanced in steppe history & Kazak please tell me what you make of this information (Have I hit a good website?) I haven't sorted through all the information but I was listening to the Dagastans of the Kazaks but they have PDFs with Arabic/Turk/Cyrillic scripts. So it maybe a treasure find to those who want to & can read those dialects (the arabic script might be Uyghur and Cyrillic=Kazak) I found the Alpamysh Dagastan really interesting. Heres the homepage with other information: aton.swco.ttu.edu/
