Kurds have no relations with Medes, Persians and other Iranian or Mesopotamian civilizations.
Kurd Terrorists have made propagandas like kurds were the creators of all civilizations in Mesopotamia, Eastern Anatolia and Western Iran. ;D Of course, all of them are propaganda, lies and have no scientific historical accuracy. ;D
They are descanded from Guti and Karduk people who were lived in the Western parts of Zagros Mountains and Bahdinan Region of North Iraq.

actually the Safavid Empire re-settled some Afsharids and Kurds to Khurasan as border-protection against Turkmen raiders. those Kurds were also part of Nadir Shah's Army. overall however Kurds have nothing to do with the steppe and they don't originate from the Steppe, neither do Medians as far as i know.

Yes, along with other Iranic (not just Persian - people always confuse these two concepts) peoples, the ancestors of the Kurds probably came from the western part of Central Asia, but the known Iranic/Aryan migrations were, to my knowledge, more that 3,500 years ago.

I really want to meet a few Kurdish folk, just to gain an minor impression of them. Because presently, I have no proper opinion on them, bah! But if they are descendant from Iranics, then don't they have a place on this forum?

The Kurds are a primitive mountain people with nothing to do with the steppes nor it's culture. Of course a Kurd can join this forum as long as he/she behaves good, just like everyone else.
But actually this board is for general Eurasian history so we can talk about Kurds, there is nothing wrong with that.

The Kurds IE ancestors are possibly amongst the earliest IE settlers in the region though they over thousands of years absorbed many significant elements out of other neighbouring nations like Semites and other IE people like invading Sakas. In the book of Anabasis by Xenophon there are some interesting observations of the mountain Kurds one of which is their use of large bows and their special shooting style. The Kurdish horse and horse culture is probably one of the remanents of their nomad ancestors.
