Tür(ü)k (Turk): General name of the Turkic peoples, originially the name of the Türük (Tujue) or the Gök Türk people. It was the Arabs who first generalised the term "Turk" for all the Turkic peoples.
Tujue: Chinese transcription of the name Türük.
Gaoche: "(People Riding) High Carts", name given by the Chinese to a group of Turkic peoples. The Gaoche were the descendents of the Eastern Dingling people; more correctly, the Eastern Dingling were called "Gaoche" by the Chinese starting from the 5th century. The Ruanruans called them "Chile".
The Gaoche formed the core of the Tiele peoples of the 6th-8th centuries. The Buguts (Pugu) and the Uyghurs (Yuanhe/Weihe) were some of the Gaoche peoples who later appeared among the Tiele (and also among the Toquz Oghuz).
Oghuz: Probably means "Tribes" in Old Turkic. The Turkic people living in Western Turkestan known as the Oghuz appeared in the 9th-10th centuries IIRC. We don't exactly know if these Oghuz were the descendents of tpe Toquz Oghuz or the Oh Oq.
Toquz Oghuz: "Nine Tribes", the Tiele Alliance in Mongolia formed around 630 AD. It was formed by several Tiele peoples such as the Bugu/Bugut (Pugu), Uyghur (Weihe), Toñra (Tong-luo), Bayïrqu (Bayegu), Izgil (Sijie), Küni/Qun (Hun) and Chibil (Qibi).
Btw it's Toquz Oghuz-On Uyghur mentioned in one of the Uyghur inscriptions. This means that there were ten Uyghur tribes and the Uyghur people was a member of the Toquz Oghuz alliance.
