Btw, I think it would be better to post the pictures about the European Huns in the Western Steppes category.

Hi BAWIR$AQ, welcome to SHF! The sketches are from the Xiongnu article of the Atlas Magazine in Turkey.

Hi BAWIR$AQ, welcome to SHF! The sketches are from the Xiongnu article of the Atlas Magazine in Turkey. Rahmet! "Hun Princess" seems to be based on so-called Paziriq culture of Altay which is believed to be Saka.

On the other hand, there are two more theories on the ethnicity of the Pazïrïq Culture. Some think they were Xiongnu or Pro-Xiongnu (I find this theory weak because the Proto-Xiongnu tribes lived in Ordos at that time) while some others think it was a distinct culture on it's own, not belonging to the Saka nor the Xiongnu. But anyway; this is not the main topic of this thread

i just know saka lords gave horses with fake antlers (deer horns) to their Kurgan graves...the deer (or horned horse, like unicorn?) was also prominent in Saka art.
